1987 NCAA Basketball Championship

The Hoosiers were also led by Steve Alford who nailed seven 3-pointers and Daryl Thomas who produced 20 points inside overcoming Syracuse's trio of Sherman Douglas, Rony Seikaly, and Derrick Coleman. This was the first year of the 3-pointer in the NCAA tournament.
