For the best possible viewing experience, please watch in HQ!!
OMG, He is sooo cute!! :D
Get ready to HORN into the action and greet Brookfield Zoo's newest addition; a baby rhinoceros that made his way into the world on September 19th, 2003!! :-D To get to know this tiny Rhino, make a visit to Pachyderm House and look for the pint-sized pachyderm sticking very near his 3,000-pound mom. Weighing only about 70 pounds at birth, the new arrival is named Kianga, which is Swahili for "sunshine after rain." The little ray of sunshine is the 11th black rhinoceros to be born at Brookfield Zoo; a testament to our long history of success in breeding these endangered animals. In fact, in 1941 Brookfield Zoo was home to the very first black rhino birth in North America!
