A video collage of cigarette-related images.

Tobacco industry for the last 50 years or so has managed to stay in business despite the fact that since 1950's medical studies have been revealing a direct and drastic link between smoking and cancer.

Today, almost 40% of cancers are preventable. However, with 1 billion smokers world-wide, the whole globe has been duped by the biggest drug dealers ever.

The World Health Organization (WHO) predicts that 70% of the deaths from smoking-related illnesses will occur in low- and middle-income countries by 2020. Smoking is likely to have a particularly devastating effect on China, where the annual death toll from smoking-related diseases already exceeds 1 million — 2.5 times that in the United States — and is expected to double by 2025 if smoking rates are not reduced.

Developing countries are particularly susceptible to the Big Tobacco onslaught as they lack funds for education campaigns and are easily taken advantage via agressive advertising, usually targeting the most susceptible population - children.
(90% of new smokers in the United States are under age).

But US, Canada, Australia, UK aren't safer...

In the US, Marlboro is preferred by 60% of 8th, 10th, and 12th grade boys and girls (14-18 year olds) who smoke. Among white 12th graders, Marlboro's share of the market is even higher at 70%. Between 1988 and 1997, the Marlboro campaign was responsible for convincing 1.4 million children to try smoking. If current trends continue, about 200 000 of these new smokers will die prematurely from smoking related disease.

In 2005, cigarette sales generated $32.5 billion in taxes and profits in China, approximately 7.6% of the government's total revenue. In contrast, the government spent $31,000 on tobacco control. Tobacco remains a pillar of the Chinese economy: consumers spend more on cigarettes than on alcohol or personal care products. Moreover, tobacco is seen as key to economic growth in the more remote, poorer sections of the country, such as Yunnan province, whose government depends on tobacco sales for more than 50% of its revenues.

The money is just too good to stop it.

The info just keeps coming and coming...

It's time to stop the whole scam.

Dig around. Read for yourself.

    have a nice day.

  • Smoking is a choice. If I wanna do it I will, I'm sick of all this (as SO11BALTAD11SL rightly said) propaganda. How about you back off and if I want to stop I will, educate by all means so that you can make your own choice but don't tell me to stop. You don't see anti-driving videos when far more people die from traffic accidents, or anti-ice cream videos when they make young children un-healthy and even die so why don't you just light up and smoke your own hypocrisy. We all die eventually.

  • You are right. Keep smoking. Maybe even increase your consumption... That would be optimal for cleansing the gene pool.

Did I fucking email you personally and ask you to stop smoking? If so, one million apologies.

  • You dug up this video on the world wide web and started mouthing off at me. jesus. read a fucking book. smoking is a shit thing to do and you are sending me messages because you are fidgety and need a fix. you are right, it is not my business if you smoke in your home, but smokers are notorious for smoking in places where others have to smell their shit, and wade through their cigarette butts. why am i even talking to you...

  • i smoke and i love it stop doing this sort of clips

  • YOU smoke and YOU love it so YOU STOP WATCHING this sort of clips

  • so now we can go to war with our lungs cleans... good idea, healthy slaves..

  • If dont quit smoking you are going to fucking die, thats the way it is

  • I just bought a couple cartons of nicotine gum I'm quiting,, now

  • its funny, when i smoked i never saw these ads but now that I dont Its like they are everywhere....

    I wonder why that is...

  • cool video.. i like the 666 pic.

  • Done smoking a long time ago. Best decision I ever made!

  • well my view on this subject is that people have the right to choose if they want to smoke or not so that applies both ways. so if someone is in a public place where there is non smokers around then they shouldn't smoke. however i don't believe completely in smokers having to go outside to smoke after this smoking ban. i think they should have designated places inside where they can comfortably relax and smoke.

  • smoking is a personal choice when you are about 13 and making wise decisions that might affect the rest of your life. 30 years later you think you would have quit 10 years ago when it first started getting hard to breathe or started feeling like your heart was gonna blow but your crave doesn't care about anything but the smoke. Good luck making that personal choice I hope you can outlive those cigarettes. But I think your crave is making the decision for you. That is just my experience.
