I am just gonna sit here and really hope that there was some important, practical military reason for crushing a car and that these guys are guilty of nothing more than enjoying their work. Sadly, I have doubts that this is the case. If anyone who would actually know why they would crush a car has any insight,(preferably a veteran tanker or something, not some doofy stay-at-home military obsessed apologist conservative dork) I would love to hear it. Thank you.

@gunterdak Because insurgents park their cars in the road in hopes of stopping a tank or patrol squad to ambush it often. And we'd rather crush someone's car than risk our soldiers lives. And the people who own the car are paid damages if we can find whos car it was (most of the time someone comes out screaming about their car being crushed by a tank) and if no-one shows up within a few days we cant pay for it.

I'm not a soldier so i don't know. but i agree. there was probably legal issues, like looting or theft. only way to stop is to stop there ability to loot. but if that was my job, i would fucking enjoy every chance i got, to crush a car of a no good lowlife that has nothing to do with the iraqi freedom campaign. @gunterdak in this case, i think there was reason, but they still enjoyed it. Another vid like this shows them doing that because the owner was using it to loot wood around. the man doing that was nothing to the society of iraq, just a taxi driver, and looter on the side. they did there job stoping it, but they have fun doing so. don't blame them for having fun doing it.
