Found out about Akiane by reading the book "Heaven Is For Real" by Todd Burpo.

At first I was surprised that this was a CNN broadcast, but then found out it was Glenn Beck and wasn't surprised at all, back when Beck worked for CNN (being that CNN is mostly liberal, and doesn't talk about religion).

Akiane Kramarik and Colton Burpo should both go on a popular, widely-watched television show so more can hear about their stories. God Bless both of them and their families.

This is the video that Todd Burpo got. When Colton looks at any picture of Jesus, he would say that the hair or the eyes are wrong. Then when Colton saw one of the pictures in this, he was in shock. He was in shock because for the first time ever, he see's a painting that was right. How Colton got to Heaven you can read in Heaven Is For Real, or type in Colton Burpo, and watch some of the videos of him. He went to Heaven, and back in the emergency room. I do recomend the book Heaven is for Real.

Wow.. Amazing! I'm nearly finished reading Heaven is for real and I had see the paintings from Akiane! I stopped reading just to see them and they are magnificent! Everyone should read Heaven is for real by Todd Burpo! It is truly an expiring book!

@NickerRaeff :D I am 15, not a new artist but still ameture compared to these paintings, i am 3/4 way done reading "Heaven is for Real" and i had to jump on my laptop just to see her art and it is truly life changing in what she does since God is using her talents to show the world that he is real. I am greatly inspired by God and Akiane!!

God and Christianity are very complex and no one-except for the Lord- know the truth. I do believe that God does what he does for many different reasons and some may be to help us succeed, and some may be to help us fail but to again make us succeed. I don't believe I worship a demon! I worship an amazing God that loves us all very much! God loves us so much and honestly, I would be no where without him! You have your opinion, and I have mine. God exists!

@JackSchwarzenegger You really twist the stories and teachings. Theres much contextual background and a bigger picture. Have you read the Bible? Have you investigated the historicity? If not then leave it to the experts.

Take a look at the Talmud and compare it to the Bible... get back to me afterwards
