These pillboxes used to guard Steeton Dump, the ammunition factory. This video shows views of the inside upstairs and through each of the gun slits to show the lines of sight of the soldiers who would have been manning the box.
Steeton is a small village near to Keighley in West Yorkshire. I took this video as a historical resource as the land is about to be developed for housing and the fate of these pillboxes is unknown at this time.

No worries mate. If you have any pillboxes that have not been recorded it might be worth contacting the local NMR (National Monuments record) Officer if this is possible.

sorry i thought you ment Department of Buildings i should of known that you ment Defence of Britain Project i do apologise.
some of the pillboxes i have videoed have not been recorded by Defence of Britain Project either.

as far as i know DoB have nothing to do with most pillboxes as they were only ment to be temporary structures and any land that was comonderd and used was given back to the land owners and left to be used as seen fit ';-)
