Final part of the Sandman. Just shows footage of the line between Gore and Winchester, which is very scenic. Enjoy!

  • Just riding, had to sign a waiver of liability a few days before the ride though.

  • I agree. The horn on the slug sounded great though!

  • GP9's and GP 10's..a former ALCO slug rebuilt w/ a cab on it and a former CR slug.

  • So do u work with W&W or they just let you ride on the train

  • KJinTX, I agree 100%. The horn is pathetic. I live in Winchester, VA and have heard it with my own ears. Motorists would be less likely to pay attention to such an appologetic horn than to a loud one that screams "THERE'S 500 TONS WORTH OF SHIT BARRELING TOWARDS 'YA, 'YA BETTER STAY THE FUCK OUTTA THE WAY!!"

Other than that, I have always loved the WW. :)

  • burrrrrp @ 0:55 lol

you can see slug 120 is on this train at 6:36 and 7:27. It had a cab added in 2005 according to the roster I found....

    nice cab ride!

  • roster I found from 2007 listed ten GP9, three GP10, and two slugs made from old Alco RS-11

  • Horn sucks!

  • How did you get to ride along with them?

  • What engines are in use on this shortline?
