how can this be useful if you cannot get the persons CCV number along with the other credit card info? i've never seen a website that allows you to checkout of shopping with entering the CCV....

As far as I know, so far all credit cards have some type of mark on them to ID them as RFID cards. I have 2 RFID cards, one has "Pay Pass" on the front of it, the other has a logo that looks like a speakers sound waves on the back. If you check your cards, look for a small square indent about 1/4' square, (hold the card in the light at an angle showing the gloss reflection), that's the chip!

@sierras247 Let me rephrase that then. I was refering to the cards that I keep in my wallet. I know it wil be an eventuallity to get them with the movement of commerce but when that happens I plan on getting items to protect them like the sleeves they showed in the video.

@VampireMagician How do you know you don't have RFID chips in "your stuff"? RFID chips are so tiny and there's no law or regulation that says you have a choice in the matter. For example, let's say Gilette uses RFID in their products, so when you purchase razors, Gilette knows who you are, what you bought, how often you buy it, where you live, what sex you are, and what other Gilette products you have bought and when, etc. These chips can be as tiny as the dot on the letter "i" in "Gilette"!

RFID technology has even scarier implications than most people realize. They eventually want us to have mandatory RFID chips implanted under our skin: an implanted ID card! Welcome to "1984." They want to use RFID for your medical records. Can you imagine the implications of just those two things alone? Everything about you will be visible, every move you make will be tracked, everything you have can be controlled. Many companies already use RFID to track your purchases without your consent.
