Shot this movie from top of Mile 16 at the Devil's Playground Area. I came all the way from Brazil to watch this legendary race-- I've been watching videos of this amazing hill climb ever since I was 18. Seeing legends such as Walter Rohrl and Ari Vatanen going up with the Group B cars above this mountain brings me the chills to this day.
My hats off to all those who have raced this mountain and congratulations to Tajima, the first man to break the 10-minute barrier, with an amazing build made to handle both Gravel and Asphalt.
Will be looking forward seeing the race again next year, though the gravel will be missed for sure.
this footage came out pretty good

@FourG6397GST It's a bit shaky, but with the wind and no tripod, dont think could do much better. The Dacia one came less shaky as there was less wind, I'll put together a video with all the unlimited cars @ mile 16. =]

Great footage, I'm a young person and live far away from pikes peak.. I wish they would keep the dirt, but anyways.. I'll make sure to make it next year no matter how much it costs me :P
