  • Wow, i wonder if ill ever find a PC / MAc / Xbox / PS3 etc, forum where people arent fighting about which is better blah blah... Surely you all realise that its what the person feels suits them or is better for them not one persons view or one review from a website? Enjoy your machines, if there crap get a new one. Would be nice to come to videos and talk about the video itself and not just the same boring old 10 year olds twatting each other over the head with their mums handbags.....??

  • cool bro, 2000 dollars for 30 fps...don't even know what to say...

  • these are not real colours rocks are almost blue! nice monitor!is it chinese?or what!

  • @MrCocaines

By comparison, an iMac with a 3.4Ghz Quad-Core, 16GB of 1333Mhz DDR3, and a poor, inferior 6970M mobile-based video card would run $3299.60 after taxes.

$1335.56 price difference, and the Mac still couldn't match the numbers. Think what I could do with a PC and $3299.60 in my pocket :) The iMac would spin around on the desk and melt into butter.

  • @MrCocaines

Actually, I did it for my bother-in-law over the weekend. Final price AFTER taxes was $1249. Granted, he had already bought himself a 23" LED monitor, but I could have added in an ML238 24" ASUS monitor for $159 extra.

I just ran a config comparison for CrownedGD for proof. A PC with a hex-core 3.3GHz CPU, 16GB of 2133Mhz DDR3, an HD7770 vid card, Crosshair V motherboard, and a Dell UltraSharp 27" 2560x1440 monitor

    After taxes.....= $1964.04

    (con'd)

Sources found, comparisons created, and sent to your inbox. You're really going to wish you hadn't called my bluff on this, when you see the evidence I've presented.

  • @FrostiXD1gga Lol for 2000$ you have a fucking great HARDCORE GAMING PC =) but say that to a apple lover

  • @MaestroDraven Inbox me your sites and sources. Than we'll talk?

  • I laughed when he said "PC Guy"... Ya, they keep complaining like a moaning bitch..

  • @CrownedGD

Sure, I did. You just don't want to listen. Macs are overpriced. It's a common, universal truth. Unless you think that Apple's cheap Hynix RAM costs $600 bucks for a 1333Mhz clock speed (source; Apple's website) as compared to a SUPERIOR 16GB RAM kit from G.Skill that runs at a clock speed of 2133MHz, and costs $150 bucks.

$450 more for mediocrity? I don't think so. If you want to toss money down the toilet, you're free to do so.

  • @CrownedGD

Hey, I tried to help. I really did. You want to get price gouged on inferior hardware, be my guest.

Take a look at anything from ASUS or Origin, then compare it against a similar-specc'ed Mac. The PC will cost about $700-$1000 less, have higher quality components, and you'll be out that much money on something that just can't keep up.

For the same price as a Mac, you get a PC will triple-to-quadruple the performance. The numbers don't lie.

  • @MaestroDraven Well I'm done with this debate, I realized I have wasted much time with you trying to brainwash me into you iMac evil plan. I agree that it should be a little cheaper but I'm not going to go as far as saying "Oh it's overpriced". Unless you have something to prove, just inbox me... K?
