@mm91ie The trouble his Grant is fast approaching fifety, & if he does return - Ross Kemp has said it won't happen anytime soon, if at-all - years down the line he won't be as tough as he was, & that's why they should bring-in Mark Jnr, he could carry on the Mitchell hardman legacy for years to come & how awesome would it be then to see his dad return one day & teaming-up with his boy. Amazing. FYI - Inside Soap has spoke of rumours of Mark Jnr. showing up in 2012. Could he come with Sharon?

i hope grant comes back, i would love if sean slater came back too and tried top mess with grant because grant would truely hammer him, i have to admit I prefer grant to phil because grant has a better personality but i have a soft spot for phil as well and he is a legend to.

@mm91ie Yeah, in the prison cell when he threw his meal tray to launch his defence. Wilmott-Brown raped Kathy Den's attack was justifiabe.. I think we have differing opinions on how we saw some of the past fights that are probably not gonna be resolved, but the main factor is we certainly have an absolute agreement that Grant is the hardest man to ever step foot in Walford & has earned his stripes better than anyone. I hope Mark Fowler Jnr. shows up one day & is just has hard as his father.

@mm91ie I agree with that completely, for once.lol. Dennis that night had a cocky, matter-of-fact attitude towards Grant & a complete lack of respect for his opponent. We knew of Grant's fighting capabilities but Dennis didn't & so threw a half-hearted punch, which he believed would be enough, until he got completely overwhelmed by Grant's sheer brute-force, it would be extremely difficult to get under someone like that if they were cautious to attack. Dennis paid for his oversight that night.

I agrre with what you said about den watts. There is a fair few 80s episodes and he was a different character to the one in 03, he was not a gangster but more of a small time wheeler dealer, although he was involved with shady characters, he was very nasty and threatening at times like with wilmott brown and he could get violent when provoked, is the fight you are referring to the one where he was attacked when he went into his prision cell that is the only fight i think he was ever in.

phil did try to defend himself against grant in the arches, i have watched that video several times and he did put up a struggle, yeah phil did thump grant in 96 but i reckon if grant had thumped him back he would have knocked him out, and in 99 i have watched the video a few times of there fight and I felt that grant got on top of phil after phil went for him. you accuse me of bias but when dennis was in the show he was my favourite character and I admit that grant woas harder than him.

dennis might be a bit quicker and more agile than grant and in a proper boxing match he might be able to take him but in a street brawl I just think dennis would be able to dodge him but grant is so heavy and strong I would always fancy him to beat nearly anyone due to his sheer physical strength, he is so strong he would be able to lift his opponent up off the ground.
