You need to watch your tongue, boy! No one ran against him - hell, he didnt even want the job... no one wanted it, but he got it... again, you are proved to be a moron. Being a surveyor gave him the knowledge of the lay of the land - allowing him to be great as a wartime commander! You seem to have no ability to achieve complex thoughts in historical context.
Suppose you should have gone a little further than third grade - or at least try complex thought - just once.

That is the most idiotic statement I have ever heard! Do you honestly believe that Washington had no experience, and that he merely lead a guerilla army? If so, you need to put down the hash-pipe and pick up an actual history book.
He was a Surveyor, a commanding leader in the regular colonial militia for YEARS, a delegate to the continental congress, the commander-in-chief of the Continental Army, and the ONLY person to get 100% of the electoral vote.
