I reckon you should consider 4 to 6 lessons with an instructor, then after another 4 to 5 outings solo you should be up and going. Tips, info and my learning progressions are on my blog - Google "kiteboarding blog" to find it.

hi i am about to start kite boarding and i want to know how long it will take until i will be able to get the hang of it. how long did it take u to be that good? and here are some things to help u see who i am. i skate, snowbaord and skate! it would be great if u could help me out!!! :)
