Nice car and all, just keep in mind to get him one of those old fashioned bicycles as well. Why? Cause the kid down the block that uses his legs instead of pushing a pedal 4 hours a day is gonna run laps around him when it come to anything athletic or stamina reliant

Great video! I love that song too! Thumbs up if you heard it from Pixar Cars.
-
@TheSeannnay yeah - they need to bring out a larger Power Wheels model for bigger kids.

This car actually has a second electrical system installed. There are a total of 20 stobes in blue, red, amber and white, run off of 10 relays mounted under the car. there are also red neons on all four sides and head and tail lights.
If you watch the video I have posted, "Mustang GT - Power Wheels - Undercover Police Car (Night), you can see them all working.

I would change the battery out with something with more kick! or a cheap jap bike engine lol

You can add another battery and run them in series to get additional speed out of it. The probelm is, the motors were only meant to run on 12V, so it's only a matter of time before you burn them out.
But . . it can be done and there are several video's out here that show you how and demonstrate the results.
