King of Queens-Animated Promo

Brice productions was commissioned by Sony Tv to
explore an animated on-air promo campaign for the
"King Of Queens" series,starring Kevin James (Paul Blart:Mall Cop),now in syndication.
This is the pitch that we produced for the project.

The character was designed by Eddie Holly,the flash animation is by Brandon Kenney,and Jerry Brice was the producer and director,for Brice Productions.

No...they just wanted to stick with the live action promos that they usually do.

It's too bad, because the whole staff at Sony TV were in to this,but we knew at the time we decided to make it, that it was sooo different than what they usually would do, that the chances were not great for them to go in such a radical direction.

They own all the rights too it, so in Hollywood,...anything can happen, and it usually does.

very good but rough around the egdes. voice resembled nothing of the actual character, but the animation was done quite nicely.

It's just a network presentation,which is basically a rough mock-up.We did not even try to cast an VO actor to mimic Kevin's voice, and it is a rough semi comp of the idea.

It still had to be good,just not finished, in order to justify the huge budget we asked for.This was done very inexpensively...but all that is relative as well.
