I like rye in saisons. I put a bit of it my homebrew saison but next time I'm going to add more. I thought it was good but not 'A' material. I have another bottle in my fridge for reviewing I need to get to.

5 Belgian yeast strains? Dang, I had no idea. I had this when I was w/ Ryan at Stone. It was very nice.

@BeerichiTuba Yep, I think some of them get lost in there but for me this beer was a bit too heavy for a Saison

I don't think I've ever really had a Saison, what are three or so brews that are good examples of the style?

@DireAxis If you havent had one I would skip this beer. I would go with Ommegangs Hennepin or Boulevards Tank 7 for amazing American saisons.

I liked this one, but the mouthfeel was a tad too heavy for the style.
