I know many Indonesians who work in Saudi Arabia. One was brutally tortured and raped until she agreed to become the third wife of her Saudi employer. Another was about to be raped but fought back, managing to run to the embassy. She is of a lucky few. Then there are cases of brutal torture, enslavement and event death. Just check out the latest news on this as proof. Far from pushing for punishment, the Saudis have been trying to cover up the crimes and few of the real numbers were ever known.

Although paraquat is absorbed through the skin and mucous membranes, including the conjunctiva and bronchial mucosa, serious poisoning usually requires ingestion or injection:

more than 6 g is always fatal

less than 1.5 g is rarely fatal

between 1.5 and 6 g, mortality is 60-70%

In relation to commercial products:

a mouthful of 20% Gramoxone is almost certainly fatal

less than 1 sachet of Weedol is unlikely to cause death
