'Finding Yourself' [Jonas Brothers Story]

-My name's Kirsten and about 80 miles ago my air conditioner stopped working and about 79 miles ago I crossed the border to California. It is hot and so am I. My best friend Brooke is dead asleep and hasn't noticed that our faces are pretty much melting off. We just graduated two weeks ago and decided to drive instead of flying. Her idea not mine. My parents moved to California before I graduated and let me stay with Brooke till I finished the school year. Now she is going to be staying with me for the summer to help me settle in then she is going back to start college. I'm scared, I'm nervous, I'm hot, I'm tired and I don't know if I'll be able to handle all this.-

I poked Brooke in the arm to wake her up because she hates that.-: Brooky, Brooke..... BROOKE!
Brooke: whhhat?
Kirsten: I need you to get me the cd's. I'm getting tired of these songs.

-Brooke fished through the cd's-

Brooke: Hey remember this cd?

-soooo tell me what you want what you really really want-

Kirsten: that's classic!

My mind slowly started drifting back to the days in my car listening to this song, Brooke immediately ruined that.

Brooke: Can you believe it? We're moving to Cali... soon we'll be surrounded by palm trees, hot boys... and lots of stores!!!!
Kirsten: Yes we can go shopping for boys!

I defiantly need to find a boy.

-12 hours later-

Kirsten: BROOKE! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!

We let out the loudest screech
possible.

Brooke: For every palm tree... there's like 60 hot boys!
Kirsten: we're here... I think... well I hope this is the right gate!

I put in the code and the gate opened it actually opened. I'm about to freak out!

Kirsten: I guess it is! My mom said our house is yellow and we won't be able to miss it.

our jaws drop. The house was indeed yellow and not in a good way. I can't let anyone ever see me in this house... I'll be laughed out of Cali.

K&B: WE'RE HERE!

My sister ran up to me and gave me a huge hug

Haley: SISSY! You're here! Guess who our neighbors are!!!!
Kirsten's Mom: calm down let them get settled in... they'll get to meet the neighbors later.

I looked at Brooke and she smiled back. Brooke started freaking out like she always does. I could care less. I just want to be able to find myself while I'm here.

Brooke: they must be famous!!
