Whereas former Simple Minds members can still magnificently hold the tunes of greatest SM songs, I think it's evident that nobody but Jim Kerr can hold the vocal lines into them. In fact this guy on the microphone shamely fails in the task. So it's great they are all going to join the band back, I mean Derek Forbes, Mike McNeil and Brian McGee... Well at least I hope this is true!... Long live the true Simple Minds!

Its such a shame that these brilliant musicians cannot get back together. I always thought Simple Minds music was outstanding instrumental tracks with a singer who found a way to add vocals in just the right way. I cannot find a better group of musicians than Michael, Derek, Charlie and Mel or Brian for that matter. Sons and Fascination just blows me away on every listen, same as New Gold Dream. Such a shame.

This vocalist is awful!
Sorry, but no one can hold vocals to old Simps songs like Jim Kerr.
Believe me, I would love to see Kerr, Burchill get back together with Forbes, McGee and of course MacNiel.
