Shame: Jason journeys from Brighton to London to the spot where Justin Fashanu, the first and only openly gay footballer, committed suicide ten years ago. The journey is interspersed with a heartfelt message from Jason to John Fashanu, Justin's younger brother. In staging his own private vigil to remember Justin, Jason marks the start of a campaign, The Justin Campaign against homophobia in football.

He didn't commit suicide due to gay slurs; It had much more to do with him losing out on a life of fame and money! This isn't a criticism but he let himself down at Forest in-order to live a life mainly in night clubs!
