I haven't seen this online anywhere either, and it's not included on the DVD release of the movie, unfortunately, so I'm assuming it's okay to post here! A longer version of "Come on Time" (the song only) is included on the Zombie Heaven box-set, which I HIGHLY recommend to any fan.

BTW, don't bother getting the movie just to see the Zombies - they're shown on a TV in a pub for all of five seconds. :(

  • Hi, Moody! Thanx for posting this. I have never seen it before. Do you have the Zombie Heaven box set or the biography Hung Up on a Dream? I already knew they weren't in it much for that reason! Keep posting these wonderful Zombie/Colin vids. I am a new fan to both them and you!

  • @Multi80schick

You're welcome! And yep, I have both the box set and the bio, though I think I saw the movie before I had those...

  • Hopefully I will make it on time to the O&O show in April!

  • I'm jealous! XD Do you think you'll be able to get film or photos while you're there?

  • Thanks for posting this, MoodyFennec. I'm afraid I'm old enough to have seen Bunny Lake is Missing when it was originally released in 1965. As I've said on other postings, I found it stunning.

And the contribution of the Zombies is particularly poignant, that haunting sound, and the wonderful voice of Colin Bluntstone, reminding me of the past when I saw the movie at 17 that is forever "Just Out of Reach"...

  • I enjoyed the movie, but I have to admit, having rented it because I'd read that the Zombies were in it...I was very disappointed at how little was actually shown of the band!

  • I remember seeing this promo as a kid Waht a clever concept. The zombies wre always really intense and theatrical. underrrated group, I wanted to buy the song but you assume there isn't one. But it's a rewrite of Just out of reach which i finally acquired. nasty stuff!! Love it.

  • That was a radio promo in late '65 for Bunny Lake is missing

  • @nhbright No, but the worst of it is, whenever the flick is shown on TV nowadays, they cut out the Zombie songs to fit in the commercials.

  • I saw it on Comcast on Demand- I love this promo but the movie does not do the Zombies justice.

  • que bacaninha...adorei!

  • lol! This is hilarious! Never knew this existed and considering just how little footage there is of The Zombies in the 60's, this is a treat.
