6:00p on January 22, 2010 and a snowplow comes and deposits a mess at
the end of my driveway. I ram my way through it with my AMC Eagle.
Vehicle fumes then set off my smoke detectors... :D

  • Does the 4wheel drive not work on your eagle?

  • @DSINKS I wondered that myself when I watched this video... I hadn't started the car in several days and I think the 4WD system took a few minutes to engage. It operates by vacuum. First two attempts up the driveway, I don't think it has engaged yet.

  • The biggest issue with the eagles (I owned two) was that their vacuum switch for the 4wd would fail and thus no 4wd - and sometimes it would get stuck in 4wd only - it was a relative simple fix - but it was annoying. I later on added a electronic switch to mine.

  • @underwooddennis85 I'm not too sure you know that much about bad weather driving. You should try to keep as much traction as you can to keep you moving. And try not to break that precious traction.

  • @SimpliztixX

He didn't want to scratch the paint!

  • pussy just floor it!!!

  • with all that snow, no wonder why you said "tired" .. there's noway you can shovel all of it .. if i were you, i would invest money in a snow blower .. it's a good investment to save you from fixing your car :D

  • you get the whole drive way for speed then slow down before you hit the snow..

  • I'd love to relocate to Flagstaff because it's so beautiful but I don't know about the constant battle with snow. lol

  • Man, this really makes me miss my Eagle SX/4. The Eagle wagon might be the coolest ever built. Well, at least close. Some of those late 60's to mid 70's big block wagons were pretty incredible.

  • I canned the vacuum motor on mine and used a 150lb push cable to actuate it.

Looks like it started working at about 1:05 min in the vid.

    Bitchin car!
