@TadRapidly it's actually a gibson futura, it's not an explorer, but it is the original guitar that the explorer was based off of. The futura is actually back in production now, but of course billy has the original 1957 one in his hands.

This was the 8th time I've seen zz out of the 8 this was 2nd best show I've seen. Blew roof off the place. Made tyler news--didn't have adequate water supply for facilites. And few other problems occured due to over crowding. Had 4th row seats. Anyone who has'nt seen zz top live needs to ck'em at least once in their lifetime! Thanx,rock on

ZZ top only has one electric guitarist(where a lot of bands have a lead guitarist and a rhythm guitarist)ánd he does almost all the singing!
How is that even possible?!
I even saw a video in which he sung 'Francine' in Spanish in Madrid.
The man is so gifted and smart!!!
