Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 how to modify to accept SSAR-15 stock

I show what steps are required to modify both the SSAR-15 slide fire stock and the Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 to make it bump fire. It is a simple process so just follow along. You will need to install a 3-3.5 pound trigger on the MP 15-22 and file the SSAR-15 stock down a bit to fit under the MP's enlarged trigger guard. If you have never done a trigger change on an AR-15 then check out a video on it first.

$200 for a timney trigger + $350 for a SSAR stock. luckily .22LR is so cheap it will pay its self off after you bump your first 1000rds.

@hugo2x Absolutely. Bump firing .223 gets quite expensive. Plus I wanted to upgrade the crappy factory trigger that my Ruger SR556 had and the original S&W trigger was much better and now resides in the Ruger lower which saved $100 over buying a replacement.

I love my slide stock on my M&P 15-22. I got the updated version of the stock that doesn't require any filing and I bought the JP yellow springs for $10 and I could not be happier.
