@Boromir26 -> hence given their continuous historic and cultural displacement they can't develop the necessary requirements for a civilization, which are, among many other, a stable body of legislature, literature, one or more sets of ideology and of course an accepted and socially respected descent and a historically built cultural heritage! And to your comment: I walked the world over and across and there was nothing remarkably unique to blow my mind!

@Boromir26 Oh and one more thing, they do not lead a civilized way of life because they are a displaced people who are caught between their historic background, they have been cast out of India some 1500 years ago, which they rarely recognize and their present lived experience of an ethnic minority in Europe, whose values, and traditions do not match any aspect of European society/culture, what makes them outcasts

@Boromir26 .. which however does not apply to the gypsies because they lack a normative set of formal rules. This in turn makes their identity an extremely flexible and hard to pin point one, which actually should give them a great advantage but they choose not to take advantage of it and stick to a stubborn liminality! that means they do not want, or see it necessary to integrate with the host society.. which given their nomadic status is what creates serious problems.

@CristianMuru First of all I do not define civilized but society does so.. and there are many universal standards which define what civilized life is, like the ability to follow societal norms and regulations! And once a nation, heck a community of people have joined together and built an identity they have all the right in the world to set standards, standards that define their group identity and set them apart from the rest, it is a basic function of identity building...

@madashelldude I was not referring to the music and if you couldn;t get that I'm sad! you make a valid point with your argument and I agree but once again I was not referring to the music but to the people! and their way of life, which is in contradiction to almost ever single civilized principle. and yes the cretins on the music charts only show how far western man has devolved unfortunately!!

@Boromir26 much more awesome than the musically and functionally illiterate morons on the TOP music charts in the west who can't even play a musical instrument and yet they make millions of dollars and ride in limos and private jets simply because a vast majority of people have no taste or knowledge of music and most importantly have no souls: humanity devolved into a bunch of organic machines who like same trash because they watch the same commercials on TV all day.
