It is Allah's sunnat to love with saints of Islam.

you are talking against this dhikr? that has come through some of the greatest people in the history of Islam, From Sayyaduna Abu Bakr as-siddique, Salman al-Farsi, Baha'uddin Shah Naqshband, Imām Rabbānī Shaykh Ahmad al-Sirhindī (Mujjadid Alif Thānī).. these people, who goes to such an extreme in following every sunnah of the beloved prophet, sallallâhu 'alayhi wa sallam, such an extreme in loving Allâh - are you better? if not, you are in no position of saying anything.

Imam Anas bin Malik RadiaLlâhu anhu's comment for the hadith where the prophet sallallâhu 'alayhi wa sallam told a sahabi; "in paradise you'll be with the one you love..." Imam Anas commented: "The sahabi became so happy, that he started dancing around in happiness in a state of unconsciousness".

The Prophet Sallallâhu 'Alayhi wa Sallam ''Practise dhikr of allah so excessively until they say you are crazy" - these people are gone in Allâhs dhikr, with such an amount of love..
