Basically, the console just boots whatever's inserted into it. If the first cartridge is a Game Genie, the G.G. boots; then, when you hit Start or Select, it goes to the next cartridge in the chain — which is usually the game, because most people (at least, I ASSUME most people) only had one Game Genie. :p

I've gotta say, though: having the ability to put in up to NINE codes is totally rad. :D Makes it a lot easier for me to make games a LOT HARDER. :)
