@mikebrewerisamoron It's the same thing with Italian cars. Bloody Alfa 156 also has them, and after they all kept exploding, wrecking the cylinder heads what was their solution? Recommend owners get the belts and tensioners changed every 36000 miles (instead of the originally recommended 72k). SHIT engineering, and a cynical way to try and generate revenue for the dealers.

Ducati's are SHIT. PLASTIC cam-belt tensioners. Tick, tick, tick, tick BOOM!

Buy Japanese, they at least have the sense to have cam chains. Ducati just want you to have to go to their dealers and spend a fortune having the belt changed (or the engine rebuilt after the useless plastic tensioners have exploded). Wankers.
