To me this is the best version because I heard it first.. never have liked any of the remakes. I love this song because it has such power to the imagination.. it's been about 16 to 17 years since I played Ys III and anytime I hear this song, the first memory is Adol entering the mines for the first time, and spiders and what not crawling about. The first steps into darkness basically. Fantastic piece.

Sorry, but I honestly like the Super Famicom (SNES) version better.
Sure, the instruments of this version here are far superior. But on the other hand, the track now lacks structure and sounds overloaded. My guess is they made this version later.
I wonder which the original version of this piece is, and if it's even been published at all.
