They increased the police state to keep people quiet while they used the resources of the United States as a private piggy bank for oil profiteers who could be willing to kill Americans for their goals. In USA, when you question the administration, you are unpatriotic. Unpatriotic is that person who does want to question, who does not want to be aware of the path the country is moving towards just bc most of the people who think they are patriotic want to be asleep. The financial crisis is a result of bad lending and borrowing combined with a devalued dollar and overseas recessions. There is no one thing nor one administration that had caused it.
