Missler should read his 9th commandment.

1. Satan doesn't exist in the Pentateuch. He is a 6thCBCE invention. As is the writing down of the Pentateuch.

2. There is not respected theologian whom claims that any of the NY was written by eye witnesses; or were written within a generation of Jesus' death.

3. Dying because you believe something doesn't make it true: witness Heaven's Gate Cult, Jonestown, Waco, etc.

4. The scholastic consensus on the Magdalen Papyrus is 2nd CCE

@gregrutz 3) This is where the age-old story revolves, God's love for us wants to have us with Him in heaven but man's pride has blinded himself to think that there is no divine being, no creator and no heaven or hell. God sends prophets to warn us and finally sends His Son Jesus to pay for all the punishment we richly deserve. Some accept and some reject. Free will becomes a privilege with a tag price at the end - you pay unless you can promise yourself NEVER to die.

@gregrutz 2) Not all minds are the same, there are those like you who believe they don't need a higher being to believe in or live with and to take care of them so that's where all this disbelief, atheism and skepticism come in as a form of defiance. Devotion to pure scientific thought, anti-myth, evolution, aleatoric existence, call it any name it's still defiance. @gregrutz 1) Again you make an erroneous presumption. God doesn't NEED humans to worship Him as if He's dying to get you to His side. If you're open to the concept of a loving creator, like a father who desires what's best for his son because he loves him, that is what it is. I assume of course that you have a father who loves you, right? But God didn't create a robot who'll just blindly do His bidding coz He gave us 'free will' to choose to either obey Him or defy Him. What a bunch of bullshit. He makes so many false assumptions based on either selective omission or absence (you decide which it is) of information/knowledge that this has no basis in science. If one "fact" is wrong, the entire hypothesis is wrong.
