I miss Guam :( I lived there for like 12 years.
-
nice view, but two lovers point was defaced when they constructed the new lookout observation platform. they destroyed the natural shape that had existed for millions of years. all for making money. thats the only thing that is important it seems.

good idea they gave to the public, i'd jump off any cliff that high and tie my hair to my boyfriend and use handcuff also..

The locks were left by couples as a symbol of their love. A couple would hang a padlock after inscribing their name or initials on it and throw the key away so that their love is locked forever.

guam is all our beautiful island.
-
chammmoritababy, I'm not saying that your wrong, just that you left out a couple of other islands

secondly to nenegirl01, listen to kuraku3, Chamorro is a native person of the Marianas. Guam, Rota, Tinian, Saipan, and all the other islands. I really dont think that there is a native word for guamanian, unless the people on guam have made one up now, but its not chamorro.
..and last but not least, sickadensick.. chamoru is not the native word for guamanian, guamanian just means that you're from the island of guam..and the native word for guam is guahan.. and the word chamoru applies that you are of native blood of the original people of the marianas. you dont believe me, go ahead and ask any of the elders that have been living on the islands since world war 2

We got a lot of comments on here :-D
I am a tiny bit more clear on the issue of "chamarro" and "guamanian"
I would love to visit again, life there seemed much more calm.

"Chamorro" is NOT the native word for Guamanian or however you people spell it. You need to take a history class of it.

That is the word the people I stayed with told me. I like how you were such a prick about me getting a history lesson but you didnt even offer an alternative.
