Keokuk Iowa and Hamilton, Illinois are a large Winter resting ground for our nation's symbol, the Bald Eagle. You can take photographs like these as soon as the weather gets cold as the big birds begin to congregate around the dam and powerhouse as fish are plentiful in the open waters at this unique location.
Keokuk, Iowa is located at the confluence of the Des Moines and Mississippi rivers at the far southeast corner of Iowa, bordering Illinois and Missouri
