Conan the Barbarian - Movie Trailer: It's the remake of the old Conan the Barbarian, made in 1982 by John Milius and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film tells the story of a boy raised in slavery and eager to take his revenge against the warlord who destroyed his village and killed his family. As the heroic Conan, the little-known Jason Momoa, the star of the TV series Baywatch and Stargate.
The movie will be released in the U.S. theaters Aug. 19, 2011.

This isn't a remake of the older movie because this one actually veers more towards the actual novels. This newer verson is based more on the novels and not on the 1982 movie. You can tell that from the frist sceen, we learn more about how he was raised.
