After Effects: Satellite Zoom Experiment

Wanted to see how easy/difficult it was to vaguely recreate the satellite zooms from those Call of Duty 4 cutscenes. Pulled some satellite imagery of Samarra, Iraq from Google Earth and tried it out. About an hour's work in AE.

You followed Andrew Kramers tutorial? If you do, where can i get the pictures? In Google Earth you got all icons and information on the map.

There's an option to turn all the markers and crap off in GM.

Noise against a black background. Then overlay that on top of the comp.

Battlefield 2 UAV online and transmitting sound file ftw.. cod4 soundtrack is ok too..
