God I would LOVE to be a commercial diver! I know of one place in NZ that does the training. but does anyone know of somewhere here where I can have a fam dive like the UDC have?
I'm, currently doing a HSE level 4 course, but the center I'm doing it at only does up to Level 4, does anyone know of a good center where I could do my level 5?
Gahhhh I cant wait to do something like this. God, what I wouldnt give to be a commercial diver. And if anyone here IS a commercial diver, do you think you could send me a PM about it? Im having a hard time getting answers to some questions I have about it
@Berkcam I have the physiological report on my desktop somewhere actually. The effects weren't as bad as I thought. Poor bastard had to decompress for forty eight days though.
@Samurailord - no, definitely no Hydrogen used in offshore diving. Comex did a couple of deep experimental dives using Hydreliox (O2/Helium/Hydrogen) but really only proved 2 things; that very deep diving isn't efficient and Hydrogen scares the shit out of everyone.
Just finished Tony Grooms book, nothing but respect for all divers

Good video!!! I'll say this. if I'm 1500 feet below sea level, I don't think "Hell's Bells" is the song high on my playlist.
