Poignant lyrics sung by one of rock's lost giants, John Kuzma. John was signed to Columbia after having impressed them with his band, The Heartbeats, which featured Bobby Woods whom you see play bass in this video, and Jay "Jaybird" Davis on sax and keyboards. I have a recording that was aired live by WMMR of John and The Heartbeats at The Empire Rock Club, which is one of my favorite recordings. John, where ever you are, we haven't forgotten you.
