Was the movie digitally remastered?

Looks to be. The Discotek DVD looks REALLY good...save for a lot of the ultra-violent scenes that were cut out when it was initially released over here. Those scenes look really bad...and look to be transferred from a third-generation VHS tape. It makes me cry.

But, it's the first time the film's ever been available subbed and "uncensored" over here, so it's a great buy. Get it from Discotek Media themselves--$18 with free first class shipping.

Also das stimmt schon ehrlich. Die Animes von heute sind einfach so verweichlicht und können nicht mehr so unterhalten wie die alten. Die heutigen männlichen "Helden" haben zu sehr estrogene Züge. Schon echt ätzend. -.-
