There was easy way to finish this, which I think you missed. If you notice mario eats mushroom at 8:08 n breaks overhead wall. After doing that, he should just have had gone through that 'overhead hole' over that horizontal strip of bricks and then simply walk all over it n as you see at 10:03, der is another hole on that horizontal strip just over the 'stage flag'. U could simply jump down over flag from that hole n taaa daaaaaaa...you are done with the level. Thumbs up if u like d idea.
