Note: This is the rap version. If you're into metal/rock or just want to see more, watch the other, original video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mos5oXO_2Rg

Also, the rattling you hear is my trunk spring, lol, nothing bad.

I could be wrong, but as far as I know this is one of the first times (maybe even the first time) a full size 10 inch subwoofer has been put inside the cabin of a Honda S2000.

With the help of my great friend Davian from IMVFilms (http://www.imvfilms.com/) we custom made this sealed box out of 3/4 inch MDF. It was a long process since we had no information from people's previous attempts (since I could not find word of any), with many small problems along the way, but all in all we made it work, and it came out looking and sounding great.

Please do not mind the crappy audio in the video. It was shot with a crappy camera, and sounds near perfect in person.

Amplifier: Alpine MRP-M450
Subwoofer: Rockford Fosgate P3D410 (10" Punch P3 4-Ohm DVC Subwoofer)
400W RMS
800W Peak

More, very detailed information on the build/specs: http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=722671

Thanks to everyone for checking this out!

  • I recommend a box for that sub. Even if you like loose, flabby bass, you will probably enjoy it much more if it is a bit tighter and cleaner. It shouldn't be too hard to put one underneath.

  • @TheJoePepper What the hell are you talking about? The sub is in a sealed box...

  • @xTerminatioNx That's sealed!?!? Wow, you've got some issues then. You might want to check why it's moving around like that. Maybe it has a leak? Sloppy bass FTL.

  • @TheJoePepper Lol, you have no idea what you're talking about idiot. Stupid noobs FTL,

  • @xTerminatioNx Sometimes you just have to man up and take it to a professional. I know it sucks that not everything comes out perfect when you DIY. How many cubic feet is your box anyway?

  • @TheJoePepper Lol, why would I take it to a professional if there is nothing wrong with it? The box is 0.60 cubic feet, just like Rockford Fosgate recommends on their website for this specific subwoofer.
