it still hurts doesn't it.. and a baby meerkat mght not be able to handle the pain of the sting and might die because of it... Immune to the poison or not they still get stabbed by the sting and if it is removed it is lot safer for the young one

Meerkats are immune to scorpion poison, so why remove the sting?

Meerkats aren't stupid. If they were they wouldn't be able to live in such a harsh enviroment that they do. The people who say these things are just jelous that they are not as clever as a meerkat.

Wouldn't say that they aren't smart since most Mongooses do have a good amount of intellegence, But that is how they know when it;s time to feed pups in diffrent ways as well as stop feeding them.
And you hate people who like meerkats? Wow, I bet you feel cool.You don't have to love the animals but you also don't have to be an ass about it.

I had always felt that a young meerkat's learning how to hunt food meant that it's parents were geniuses with teaching degrees.
Now it turns out they're just a bunch of dumb meerkats. I'm totally disappointed.
