interesting.....ive just grown thyme, parsley and basil for the first time and was wondering how to dry it, will try the microwave version
my only criticism is that its pronounced herb with an 'h' not 'erb ;)

I have stuffed them in a jar and let the cure in the oils first then I remove the lid and let the sun dry them this won't hurt me will it?

How to dry Spearmint, I tried hanging by hanging,, the leaves dry, turn brown and fall off the stock. They don't have a good taste,, so what should i do,,,, anyone???

sorry, don;t agree at all,
herbs ,same as every fruit or veg are better to be eaten fresh, you only dry them when near to end of the plant's life cycle, the most and best way to preserve herbs is in a cool dark but with air circulation area (attic ,shed, cellar...etc)and you can still pick and use them while drying ,no need for oven or microware, as the later cooks food from inside out distroying the herb's enzymes before it gets to the plate /pot
