@Barfetta3000 Well, excuse you. You've obviously never beeen to Africa and dont know just how hair textures and skin tones( not to mention facial features) vary not only from country to country, but even within a country (Tribally, etc). I'm from Africa, and my hair is shoulder length (loose curls), My sister has waist length wavy hair. My mother had waist length tight curls before she cut it short. No admixture either. I can count you my heritage and family history 15 generations on both sides.

I just let my 8 year old daughter view this video and she guessed your age at between 24-29. I will let her know what age you told us in a minute. She probably wont believe me. Take care

This vid is about hair -HOwever, we ALL come from one man and one woman-ADAM &EVE. DNA is a very complex thing. God built all sorts of colors shapes sizes ,etc into DNA. The planet is FULL of varieties of plants and animals-Ignorant people need STOP trying to tell other people what they can or cannot look like based on very human (thus limited) knowledge and just accept the variety in the HUMAN race.
I have a questioin: As a person that wants to go natural do you have to cut all of your permed hair off?!
And your hair is beautiful! I believe my skin is almost your color maybe a half a shade darker and I'm am not mixed either, just like you! :)

@DonnieFanDarko Thank you for the compliment. No. You do not have to cut all of your hair off at once. When I transitioned, I cut my hair a little at a time. The last relaxer I had was in 1998 when I had a very short hair cut. I just decided not to relax my hair again. I was not aware I was "transitioning" at the time :).

Obviously she is mixed somewhere down the line, that contributes to her hair texture the way it is. People, use your eyes and your brains. AFRICANS are not this light. Get a clue. I am sick of people with mixed backgrounds denying who they are and then truly black women wonder why they can NEVER get their hair this curly. ITS NOT GOING TO WORK FOR YOU!

@Barfetta3000 Denying? As far as I'm concerned, I am black with no mix of anything "down the line". My hair can almost duplicate this with the right products/technique. To infer that people are denying who/what they are is asinine. Our hair does NOT come in one texture

@Barfetta3000 I am 100% black; from two black parents whose parents and great grandparents were direct descendents of slaves. Black comes in all colors and textures. African's in northern africa and often fair skinned with textured hair. My hair has a leave in conditioner followed by a gel to keep it from kinking and frizzing into an afro :)
