My Wii is at it again...Those of you remember my "Chainsaw" Wii, which was replaced. This replacement (Replaced 6 months ago) now appears to have a fried GPU. Before anyone accuses me of damaging my system or not providing circulation, there is plenty of airflow around the system all the time. My only guess is that our recent heatwave maybe did something...otherwise, my room has airflow coming in all the time, including the cool night air.

Anyone, recommend a good cooling accessory for the Wii so I don't have this happen again?

  • This looks like a dead GPU pipeline.

It happened to me, but in PC graphic hardware. I enabled a pipeline deactivated by default. Bad idea.

  • Don't use a cooling accessory, trust me. They screw up the wii and void the warrenty.

  • Yeah. this has happened to me twice.

it sucks, but nintendo customer service is great
