R3FX Loop Switch Mod Demo

FIRST OFF - I apologize for the dark, blurry video, not sure why it came out like that. Should be at least a good first look at how the loop switch mod works.
I also cover the expression knob/switch combo
The loop switch mod essentially lets you just into the Loop Sampler mode of the DL4 so you no longer have to reach down and turn the knob to get into the looper.

Can you used a 1/4" jack in place of the expresssion knob and use and expression pedal in conjunction with the dL4 through that jack?
