I'd love to know of those who felt compelled to chime in here, who among you had ever been in the house? If you don't know what you're talking about, don't comment. By today's standards, this house was no mansion. It was built on a nice lakefront lot, but it was certainly no palace. Do your research. This house was owned by PTL as its parsonage, so its not like the Bakkers stole monies to purchase it. It was an asset of the church, and when it was sold the money went back to PTL.

It should be ILLEGAL to take advantage of people like this. And, because they used their members like this for financial gain, that's WHY it's NOT illegal to post pictures of the home. They STOLE money from the people because it was given under FALSE pretenses. The ppl thought they were giving to help certain good causes. In reality, they were just fattening the preacher's bank accounts ....

...and you know what happened to that house? It finally sold, but for much less than they wanted. It became a "party house" for a few years and then...it burned to the ground.
