@jerm26554 The important thing is that since it's my car and I'm the only one that has to like it, I don't give a f*** what you think. Thanks for commenting!

I was on the fence about getting a 2006 GTO that I saw at a dealership recently, and you have made me decide this is the way I want to go. I am coming from an Acura Integra and the world of FWD cars, and I will be happy to get back into RWD.
By the way, what part of Wisconsin are you in? I used to live in Fitchburg just south of Madison.

@AbsintheMindMatt I used to live in Cottage Grove, but earlier this year I moved, now I'm in rural Green Lake County. I try to get down to Madison from time to time, still got some good car friends down there.

Enjoy your modern goat, the most powerfull GM Pontiac car ever badged with the GTO emblem, and because it may be the last, I'm sure it will go up in value...And don't worry about the body lines, I have a feeling they will come back into favor. And for those of you that say this is just not an American car, try to remember that GM is a Global company, and all GM North American rear wheel drive cars are born in Australia, even the new Camaro!

@roydolen Absolutely! And Holden is consdering a new Monaro based on the Camaro structure. We may also get the Commodore back as a Chevy. Fingers crossed!
