took me about an hour to install. I spent more time on figuring out where to mount the ballast, but in the end i LOVE IT !!!

  • hey, couple questions.

How did you get both lights to work? Are they high beams or normal driving lights?

Where did you put your ballast? Im waitting for my HID kit to come this week

  • @baljci well, one of them is reagular riding lights, and the other is indeed the high beam. i put the ballast between the frame and the side fairing.

  • looks amazing, gunna do this on my 05 r6 for sure after seeing this video. When you did your high beam did you need to aim it differently? im guessing when your riding with both of them on it blinds the drivers/ riders in front of you no? and why did you decide to go with the 35W over the 55W. sorry lots of questions just kind of a noob at this light stuff and wanna make sure i get it right.

    Cheers, safe riding!!

  • @hedkandi999 sorry bro, i just found your question, sorry it took so long to reply. as for my high beam i dont have to aim anywhere differently. well if you do it at the nighttime of course you will blind the other driver, all you need is the low beam. to me it's really bright with the low beam itself. as for i go for 35W is mainly because it consume less electricity. i don't want my battery to die early. and make sure you leave your "HIGH BEAM" Switch Off when you are about to Start your bike.

  • @hedkandi999 I installed the HID on my buddy's 2005 R6, It looks goood. make sure you put your ballast under the windscreen. your R6 has plenty of space for both ballast right under your Windscreen.

  • 35W 6000K best way to go on a bike

  • amen Brotha....

  • @automaniac85 actually the 55 watt kit will consume the same amout of electricity as the stock halogens did, but will have a 40% higher light out put over the 35 watt. However the bulb colour will wash out due to higher wattage ballasts, making 6000k bulbs look more like 4500k-5000k.

  • Awesome, i ride a Kawasaki Z750 and got my HID's and LED side lights installed by motorbikeadventures, its a UK only company but theyre cost effective and very proffesional. motorbikeadventures.co.uk for anyone who is interested.

  • @bta024247 get a projector kit with d2s bulbs hids

  • Hey what size bulb did you use? I have been doing some research and i found that the R6 uses a bi-xenon H7 kit. These are for a friend BTW. I dont know much about bikes. Please let me know, BULB SIZE, WHICH RAPTOR KIT.

  • Did you bought it from ddm from Motorcycle Lighning?

What did you chose over there 35 Wattage? Bulb Type ?, Bulb color is 6000k.

Will it fit Yamaha YZF-R125 2009?
