  • @ ...Even across many martial arts kicks are generally the same. A side kick is a side kick. A front kick is a front kick. I am very interested in learning from you what your sidekick looks like so I can assess my own technique. Thank you.

  • @gothicboylover Within the "Korean" taekwondo there are several divisions. The WTF (World Taekwondo Federation and ITF (International TKD Federation) and tow of the governing bodies of "sport" TKD. So when you say korean taekwondo, which if either, of these are you referring to? There is debate over what could be considered the "real" TKD. You would need to provide more details if anyone is going to accept that one form of taekwondo's sidekick is more real than another...

  • @steelhiker oh its that am in teakwondo and and we do the korean teakwondo and the korean teakwondo is the real one and heres what im trying to say is we do our sidekicks different

  • @gothicboylover - Which kick are you referring to? The kicks these boys used with the edge of their feet is considered a step side kick. You are correct in that it is not a standard side kick, but there are many derivations of kicks and strikes.

Thank you for your input. It is appreciated.

  • thats not a sidekick i know im in teakwondo right now and thats not a sidekick
