Being an Army soldier who is doing my first tour to Afghanistan in March and listening to this song and watching this video really makes me appreciate all those who have done it before me. Now I am glad to be amoung them and cannot wait to go and serve my country proud! God Bless this land and everyone in it!

This song reminds me of when I was getting out of the Army. My unit deployed when I was clearing, and my friend got shot and killed in action while in action. The kicker is that I was supposed to be in his spot. So that should have been me.

this song goes deep in my heart its so sad to think that he/she is just now getting to be a grown up and just got their new house and is getting married then once their married he/she goes to the war....but never comes back.
